CareDrops, a corporate social responsibility initiative of the pioneer Vicar's wife (Mrs. Nkechi Ezenwa), was birthed in 2020 for the Women’s (Guild) Fellowship of Anglican Church of The Beautiful Gate, Victoria Garden City, Lagos. It is a values-based project set up with focus on education for the less-privileged child in the community. While we seek to inspire students to strive for higher educational attainment, our long-term goal is to provide the necessary support to the outstanding student in a sustainable manner. We also strive to add value through a series of target projects and a range of educational activies.

CareDrops was unveiled and launched on December 20th, 2020. The Unveiler and Chief launcher was Barrister (Mrs.) Folakemi Oladejo.

CareDrops is set up under a Trust Fund with a Board of Trustees drawn from the Fellowship membership. The Board manages and administers the Fund on behalf of the fellowship.

The initial funding was done through an open launching and donations by members of Anglican Church of The Beautiful Gate. Subsequently, the project is now being funded through the ‘CareDrops Partners’ (Who are members and non-members of Anglican Church of The Beautiful Gate).

Partners are categorized with a monetary value attached to each category and are committed to regular subscription as described below:

Gold Partner – N5,000/month (minimum)
Platinum Partner – N10,000/month (minimum)

CareDrops has identified Olomo Junior and Senior Secondary Secondary School Ajah Eti-Osa Local Government in Lagos State, which is within the community as a possible school for her initial project. Approval has been received from the Lagos state government to commence the project.
